  26. This month we will take a look at Transporters.You will find a 
  27. tutorial on this as well as one on sensors.There is also a 
  28. tutorial on how to use strings for great text effects.Also on the 
  29. disk are tutorials for the step by step kit 1 and kit 2 games 
  30. plus an object design course.Another 3DKit tutorial shows you how 
  31. to create curved arches for tunnels,curved (cylindrical) gas 
  32. towers and posts,and also how to create hills using pyramids that 
  33. you can climb up.In all a wealth of information on getting the 
  34. most out of the 3D kits.I have also managed to find the FCL 
  35. command list and this is included (in part) too.The datafiles
  36. on disk allow you to visit Rome,explore the curved objects 
  37. tunnel routine,see a boat animated and many more!

  39. The Third Dimension diskmags can now be found on one of 17Bit 
  40. software's CD ROM disks.I was quite surprised to see that my War 
  41. of the Worlds game has also been placed on the Amiga/PC Sci-Fi 
  42. Sensation CD ROM disk.

  44. I will be appearing on Channel 4's 'Big Breakfast' morning TV 
  45. program sometime between 29th January to the 8th feb.So if you're 
  46. an early riser,watch out for it.

  48. If you are new to this diskmag then please note that you need 
  49. either 3D Construction kit 1 or 2 to be able to view the 
  50. datafiles on this disk.Details of where to get this is mentioned
  51. further below.To see what can be achieved why not purchase one of 
  52. the many disks listed in the Third dimension PD library section 
  53. that are available for all computer formats.Alternatively,try the 
  54. Amiga-VR-PIANO,VR-CITY,VR-DRUMS disk available from most good 
  55. Amiga PD libraries and the Third Dimension PD library.

  57. You should have at the very least,version 2.09 of 3D kit 2 for 
  58. the Atari and Amiga.PC users should have version 2.11.To find out 
  59. your kit version,load up kit 2 then look in the ABOUT pull down 
  60. menu.Mandy Rodrigues can supply you with the very latest version 
  61. providing that you send a SSAE and your old kit disk.Mandy can 
  62. also provide back issues of the kit newsletters at œ2 each.
